"...the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it." (1 Corinthians 12:25-26) Zion is pleased to announce our new Visitation Ministry Team. This diverse ministry team is a group of caregivers who are available to visit with you both in times of need and in times of rejoicing. After our recent seminar on care-giving, they are equipped and gifted for listening to you and and being present with you as you encounter the ups and downs of life. They are ready to visit you in the hospital, your home, or somewhere for a cup of coffee, in order to meet you where you are and share in the daily events of your journey. They look forward to providing the Pastoral care you need, in order to complement the work of the Pastor and build the closeness and sense of community of our family at Zion. But, just as with the Pastor, they will not know if you are in the hospital (due to HIPAA regulations) unless you call. So feel free to give them a call and get to know our Visitation Ministry Team! Our Visitation Ministry Members are: Jan Anible, Richard Ellis, Deb Fuchs, Sue Grotty, Mike Newcomb and Terry Williams. |

Marking the 200th anniversary celebration of Delaware, the members of Zion UCC constructed a parade float with music and a message.
